Itinerary

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a scenic drive of about 110 kilometers to Ninh Binh, a province celebrated for its dramatic karst landscapes and rich historical heritage. Your first stop is Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel, Vietnam’s very first capital, where you can visit the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, set amidst lush gardens and framed by towering limestone mountains.

In the afternoon, embark on a two-hour boat ride along the peaceful Ngo Dong River, gliding past golden rice fields and majestic cliffs. The journey takes you through the famous Tam Coc (“Three Caves”), often called “Halong Bay on land” for its striking natural beauty. Along the way, locals from Van Lam embroidery village may approach with their handcrafted souvenirs, offering a charming glimpse into local tradition. After the boat trip, return to Hanoi, arriving around 6:00 PM, where the tour comes to an end.
