Tour Route: Saigon – Cu Chi – My Tho – Saigon

This 4-day tour offers a perfect introduction to Southern Vietnam, combining vibrant city life, wartime history, and the peaceful charm of the Mekong Delta. Ideal for first-time visitors and culture lovers, the journey takes you from Ho Chi Minh City’s colonial landmarks and bustling markets to the underground Cu Chi Tunnels and the lush waterways of My Tho. Travelers can explore historical relics, sample tropical fruits, and experience local crafts and music. The tour is suitable for year-round travel, but the best time to visit is from December to April when the weather is dry and pleasant.
Note: Due to recent geopolitical tensions affecting global fuel prices, fuel costs have increased by around 30%. However, as part of our commitment to our partners, we will keep our tour prices unchanged until the end of December 2026.
On arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, we will be greeted and driven to our hotel.
(Note: Hotel’s check in is 14.00/15.00, Early check in is NOT included).
After that, we visit highlights in Ho Chi Minh city such as the Reunification Palace, a palace of old President in South of Vietnam during the American war; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, the two sites that we can’t ignore when we visit the city.
Our free evening activities should be: walking around at the night market; explore the highest building in Ho Chi Minh City, Bitexco (cost at your own expense) …. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Morning, we head to the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also, on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Later, we can go to the shooting range where we can try to fire real bullets: (costs US$3/bullet)
In the afternoon, we visit the famous Ben Thanh market, this bustling and well-organized market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dai. Overnight at hotel.
Today, we will drive to the Mekong Delta and take the boat ride on small canals to visit some local cottage industries, fruit orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit, honey tea, and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing.
Later of the day, we return to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight stay.
Free time for shopping or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
